I bought my distiller last Cristmas Eve from Sears 50% off. And I love it! One of the best health investments you can make. Damn it- it's water!
Just pure water, free from all nasty stuff, any of them. I collect all calcium deposits from the inside of the distiller and I am horrified by the amount- not even year passed. Ok, I think where would that calcium ended up if I didn't use distiller? And I don't want any of those 50 drugs that show up in tap water (according to Kulvinskas).
I do not notice any mineral imbalance because of drinking ONLY distilled water. You still hear all that big fuss about supposedly you get mineral imbalances- not true. However, I notice Na is eliminated fater than with regular water. For some it might be small drawback, but positive things aoutweight one small possible negative by a million times. It is better to throw an extra pinc of
Sea Salt on your salad than to deal with, let's say, prozac in your body or with chlorine. If mineral issue in distilled water still concerns someone, you could add liquid minerals drops. I do add, but not because I am scared, but mainly because of magnesium- 40 drops hold 60% of magnesium
There is a very small amount of water left on the bottom after each distillation session. So, once I tasted that tiny bit of water. Well, taste is horrible and it's like you taste something like liquid chemo drug!
Ok, now about issue of structured water. Maybe there is something to it, but I am still not convinced. But again, I am not totally against it. And that could be a second minor drawback of distilled water. Sollution, if it's important to you- to get Vitalizer which is way overpriced, or if if it's not big deal- just to continue drinking like it is.
Price. It is much cheaper. I got mine for about 80$ with discount. I use distiller for 10.5 months. Used to buy gallons of distilled water from Walmart for 60 cents or so. I use about two-three gallons per day (for two). Arithmetics tell me that I already saved over 200$. What a deal: you put money in your pocket and drink the purest water around!
Thank you, Paul Bragg. Peace be with you in eternity.
