I'm confused. I didn't think that maple syrup would have been allowed. Now I never read the book that has been refered to as the source for the "candida diet" just always assumed that it was a generally alkalizing diet, and since I am familiar with that I went with it. I hope someone with the book gets back to you to clear this up. I'm fairly sure that you should avoid the maple syrup from a purely alkalizing stand point. I would have thought that the
Sugar from the maple syrup would be a big a boost to the candida growth as any other sugar. Later, mike
