Judith,
you sound like you have settled for a lifetime of low-grade chronic illness? I know we should be grateful for whatever state of health we find ourselves in, but isn't it only proper to strive for total health?
As for the liver problem being caused by candida - yep I agree. The point is that candida will exploit any liver weakness and in turn perpetuate that weakness through all the toxins it releases. A bad liver will only get worse. Its a catch-22. Only way out is to cleanse your liver.
Judith, when you say you can eat margarine, I hope you mean butter. Margarine is full of trans-fats and shouldn't be eaten by anyone, let alone someone who is ill. Trans fats are fats which are damaged so that the molecules have a kink in them. These unnaturally shaped molecules are then no longer able to perform their correct functions in the human body. Not only that but they may get "stuck" like a bad key in a lock thus causing all kinds of biological damage. Even the U.S. government has finally admitted that trans fats are bad, and I believe that there is legislation in place so that all products containing trans fats will have to be labelled.
See Udo Erasmus's website for more details (link at end of message).
Trans fats have been implicated in cancer, heart disease and diabetes. Eating margarine will certainly not be doing your liver any good.
