Well, possible congratulations! How wonderful for you.
I have to say, though, I would never, ever advise anyone to do this while pregnant, especially in the early stages. There are just too many nutrients and vitamins and minerals that you need to take for the sake of your baby and yourself! The things that go into this lemonade cleanse are wonderful to sustain us, as adults, for short periods of time, but not what you need to sustain YOU, as a pregnant woman, and certainly not what your baby needs, either. Please reconsider - you can safely fast afterwards. Prenatal vitamins are great, but can't subsitute for the fresh, good, healthy food, food that you and your baby should be nourishing yourselves with. The baby WILL leech vitamins and minerals and nutrients from your body if you don't eat them, and your health will suffer.
Sorry to sound like such a worry wart or harbinger of doom, because I also have to say that if you nurse your baby, the cleanse is probably not safe during that time either, because I don't see why some of the toxins being cleansed from your body wouldn't appear in your milk - toxins are released through your breath, your tongue, your feces, your urine, your hair, your skin...and through your milk? It's something to think about. Please think about it!
These are just my gut feelings about this. If you are pregnant, please talk to your doctor or other caring health care provider about the your concerns with the cleanse, and see what they have to say. All the best to you and your future children!
