I started out feeling very good the first 3 days and went downhill from there. The mornings are good and towards the evening I have trouble. Tired, hungry and just plain want to eat. I've been very good at not thinking about food. If you concentrate on that you'll go nuts!!
I've continue to work out on a less strenuous level and that’s worked good for me. I’ve consumed from 5-6 drinks a day using the full 2 TBLS of syrup, tea at night and
SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) in the morning. Lots of water during the day. I don’t think I’ve lost much muscle and I’ve gone from 148 to 141.5 and hope these next 2 days I get to 139 or 140.
The reason I’m stopping at day 9 is I have plans (anniversary) for Sunday night and Monday. While I don’t want to pig out, I’d like to have a nice time and not worry about getting sick if I eat. So I want to experiment with introducing food into my system Saturday and Sunday morning. I’m planning on drinking the OJ and maybe soup Saturday night.
Any other suggestions??
I am also planning on doing mini fasts starting next week and continuing. This forum has helped me so much, every time my husband would make himself dinner, I’d get on the computer and read. Thanks for all the suggestions and good luck to all.
I’ve learned to substitute the maple syrup for honey and sugar. Coffee doesn’t give me the energy I want (it makes me crash) instead I’m enjoying hot water and lemons throughout the day. I’ve also learned that I eat because I think I’m hungry and you can get through those feelings. Your not going to die!!!
