some things that helped me in the past are:
1) try fresh-squeezed pineapple juice
or
2)Magnesium 250-600mg daily in two-three doses
or
3) eat Okra (if you like it though) boiled with a little olive oil
or
4) take Bromelain 1000mg daily(avoid if there is any blood clot disorder)
or
5)take Vitamin C at least 5 mg daily in 5 doses
