You are not to let Bentonite come in contact with anything metal. I guess use a wooden spoon or something to mix. I was reading up on Bentonite and its benefits and this was mentioned on multiple web sites. Maybe everyone already knew this, but I did not.
I didn't know it - thank you. So far I've always used my junky plastic measuring spoon for it. What happens when it comes in contact with metal? Does it leech metals out from spoons and bowls and things?
I don't know if plastic is bad, but metal is a no no. I was mixing mine with a metal spoon for the past 2 days. As far as I can gather (I am no scientist), it effects the electomagnetic properties of the bentonite. I can't see how plastic would do that, your probably ok.
