There are 3 parts to my question and would be grateful of any information.
I have the Attention Deficit Disorder and recently saw a programme about Omega Fatty acids helping a schoolboy improve his concentration. On looking into Omegas I discovered the Flaxseed was the ‘best source’ so I have just started eating Flaxseeds.
I grind them right with a coffer grinder before I use them. I have just now read that you need to eat them with cottage cheese.
Q1: As I grind the seeds (I.e. I don’t use the oil) I want to know how much flaxseeds I should grind and take daily. (I have read that the seeds are 40% Oil). And what amount of Cottage Cheese to take or is a ratio? Does it depend on you age weight?
Q2: I can understand that the Flax and cottage cheese need to mix together so some ‘bonding’ can take place. Is it possible for the bonding to take place from ground flaxseed? are there any special ways to ensure they do mix and bond?
Q3: I read a bit from a book that says you should eat foods that are ‘alive’ When I got my first Flaxseeds I threw a few in a drop of water – they started to grow roots. I was wondering if you knew if once they were ‘activated’ by the water if they would be better worse etc.
