At such a low weight, it is certainly better to first make the necessary nutritional approaches to gain weight before continuing with cleansing. I suggest you use the Vata-balancing foods (listed in my book Timeless Secrets of Health & Rejuvenation)to increase substance in your body. Vata types like yourself benefit from the tastes sweet (as in most fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, grains, etc.), sour (such as lemon and vinegar) and salty (unrefined salt), all being weight-gaining tastes, while reducing pungent (spicy foods), bitter (in green leafy foods) and astringent (as in beans). Oils and fats fats increase digestibility of foods in the Vata type, without which they have a hard time keeping their weight. Protein foods from animal source can affect them, though, due to their naturally lower digestive capacity (compared with the other body types). Sleeping before 10 pm and eating the main meal at lunch time also help with balancing weight.
