When the lymph drainage is inadequate, toxins are being discharged into the blood via the right and left lymphatic ducts (see diagrams in my book The Amazing Liver Cleanse, ener-chi.com) which has a direct impact on nutrient uptake into the blood from the GI tract. Hence, as soon as you ingest something that requires digestion (even water needs to be digested) the digestive system responds with rejection, at least at first.
During the night, a lot of energy is used by lymphatic system to take up and remove metablic waste products and deposited toxins from undigested foods, food additives, acids, acidic foods proteins, trans fats, chemicals, etc. from the connective tissues. If the lymph ducts are congested because of this and other reasons (such as bile duct blockage in the liver due to stones)the above scenario takes place. This can make you feel very uncomfortable and cause the symptoms described. However, after the second meal, a lot of energy is being diverted into the GI tract to process the newly ingested foods. This practically stops the detoxification process and you start feeling better.
To summarize this for you. Your body has accumualted too many toxins to function in a balanced way. Please study the four common causes of disease in my book The Key to Health and Rejuvenation (auhorhouse.com) and how to remove toxins in the body without jeapordizing your health. This book also gives you the directions to maintain a balanced diet according to your body type requirements and to set the preconditions for your body to digest and eliminate waste more successfully. Your liver's bile ducts need to be cleansed of all stones to main proper blood health and lymph flow (see The Amazing Liver Cleanse). The first thing to consider doing is to cleanse the colon through colonics or colemas to prevent any backflushing of waste into the upper GI tract.
