My worst fear! I see them in my eyes curled up and I have felt movement in and outside too. Spoke to an 2 opthal/surgeon about this several days ago. He was having a hard time believing me in that I could possibly have an Ascaris eye problem, because he couldn't "see" anything, so therefore it doesn't exist, according to him! He asked me so many dumb questions, like, "How do you know you still have a problem? Why do you think you have a systemic problem? Are you sure you felt something come up your throat? How do you know it was a worm? Describe this again. How do you know you have ascaris? Who diagnosed this? Did you have tests for parasites to CONFIRM WHAT YOU SAW?" Blah, blah.

The worst part about it is that he went to med school 20 yrs ago and learned about parasites. Additionally, he's never seen one (except on a slide) and doesn't know how to treat it! I've been dealing with these things on a daily basis for almost a year. So.... who has the REAL experience and knowledge? Geeez!

I think, I'll send their office this story!
