My hubby has been sick since Memorial Day (that is almost 2 MONTHS ago) with what we thought was the flu. The doctor prescribed Antibiotics and he was on his way. Then he got strep throat and urgent care (was having trouble breathing) prescribed him a different Antibiotics which his Dr. said counteracted each other since he wasn't getting better. Different Antibiotics were given and when those didn't do the trick, he was sent to a gastrointestinal specialist. They did a catscan (not too sure, think it was catscan since he had to drink that gross stuff), did BM cultures and then a colonscopy and said they they could see a parasite in his colon but didn't know what it. So the poor guy has had to go through two MORE colonscopies (he had them put him out for those since they were there for a LONG time and it was painful) and they still can't figure it out. I want him to do a Colon Cleanse but he says his colon is quite cleansed with as much as he is pooping (every 5 minutes at times and liquid - sorry if too graphic). I looked at the Colonix program and think that will do it unless others have ideas. He will NOT do an enema so it has to be an oral cleanse.

With his problems I would get advice from a professional instead of trying things.
Just a thought.

PS: I just realize that Andreas is not much a believer in parasite cleanse. He believes in bowel and livercleansing so the parasites have no place to survive.
Also eating the right foods. So that might not be the way you want to do things.

I say do the Colonix, it sounds like a great program! I just ordered my first kit about an hour ago!
Have you read all the testimonials? I have........twice! LOL!! I doubt that the antibiotics will do much. Please let us know how he does, we love hearing success stories (even if they are gross!!

Please be careful! You may want to get the doctors advice about this. It may be good or bad but at least you know what he thinks about this stuff. If thet stated something about a parasite what is he recommending? Do doctors prescribe anything for parasites?

This is a reply to # 476,479Hi, if it has to be an oral cleanse, What works for me is this product called Colon Clenz. It has the herb Cascara Sagrada in it- which stimulates the colon and lower bowels to push out fecal matter.
Having diahrria doesnt necessarily mean his colon is being cleaned out. Actually, he could have impacted fecal matter in there- and the runny material is all that is able to come out.
Psyllum Husk with a lot of water every morning will also scrape things out of him.-- including parasites if they are in that area. I use this product called "Super Colon Cleanse" with the psyllum husk and herbs - about 3-4 capsules with a 8 oz or more glas s of water in the morning. By 2:30, I am being cleaned out in the bathroom at work! ..lol.
He may also want to consider drinking Bentonite Clay ( 1 TBSP with water and Psyllum Husk every morning.
I highly reccomend MH's Lower Bowel Balance (sold at http://www.mhdewormer.com) He also sells parasite dewormer-- and only uses natural , non-irridated organic herbs for the ingredients. He makes the stuff by hand.Advertisement

This is a reply to # 476,486Yes, Psyllum Husk is rough on the intestines- and should be taken with lots of water if used.
I still use it once in a while though- and dont always abide by what MH or Andreas say 100%, because Psyllum husk does work for me in certain situations.
Nevertheless, I tend to stick with Cascara Sagrada more because it actually tones and strenghthens the muscles in the lower bowels, whereas things like Senna or Psyllum Husk will just weaken them in time when used too much.

This is a reply to # 476,479So last night he went to the Dr. to get the results of his colon scrape and they THINK they know what is wrong and how to fix him. He was sent to the specialist last night to have another catscan and SHOTS in his stomach. What on earth would they be injecting him with??? Well needless to say he was very sick vomiting and with diarrhea all night last night so he is super tired today. Once he gets some rest we'll see how he is doing.
He did ask his Dr. at the appointment whether a colon cleaning program would work for him, and the Dr. said "No" since the parasites were imbedded in the intestines. Does that seem right? Or is this just a western vs. eastern medicine answer?
Thanks for the responses, and I WILL be getting a colon cleansing program for him if these shots don't work.
I'm breastfeeding or I'd get a Colon Cleanse too so I don't reinfect him if I have them. I'll have to do a search on what I can safely do.

I would do the Colon Cleanse anyway, whether the shots work or not. I have read that 80% of all people have parasites. And besides, the shot may take care of that one worm/parasite, but what about the rest?

What else do you recommend with this program knowing his history above? Probably the probiotics, is that a good price on their site? http://www.drnatura.com
