I hope others will chime in on this one, but here are my initial thoughts:
In yoga practice (and i am sure in other practices!) there is a term called "hitting the wall". One has been seeing progress, and then all of the sudden... blech. Nothing. It is like all the wind is out of the sails. This is actually an important time, when the body is adjusting to what has been happening and getting ready to progress. Too many times people give up during this time. They jump on to the next thing, and are glad because they are out of the doldrems and excited about searching for 'new' results. In fact, they have missed out on the GREAT things the body was preparing to do.
If this is resonating with you, I suggest you dilligently complete what you have started. Give your body permission to do what it is supposed to do, on it's own timing. Don't go on to the next thing until you are sure you are ready. Then when you are ready, do it with gusto! All of us have such a hard time when we compare our results with what we THINK we SHOULD be doing!
Now if you are instead feeling a peace about moving on, then do it, and don't get too caught up with your previous plans. (I myself planned 2 months, and am realizing that i have no idea how i will feel in two months, so my planning might have been a waste of time!)
I guess what i am trying to say is that only YOU will know when it is time to move to your next step on the road to health. I am just starting month two, so I will be interested in hearing about your experiences! Best of luck, and let me know what happens! :)
