Yes. Flax is actually better than psyllium. You only need 1 tsp to 1 tablespoon of clay a day. You can take in 3 servings of fiber, but beware of OVER doing it! :)
Bowel management when done slowly will make you sick as the toxins are stirred up from where they've been adhering to the intestines and allowed to re-circulate. It's all part of the healing crisis, which is a sign of true heaing rather than symptom masking. I've got a post on it in my FAQ that goes into detail if you care to read it.
