This has been a matter of debate here quite a bit and the problem with the hypothesis of it being psyllium that is forming the nasties in the toilet, is that they should consistently form, uniformly and to the same degree/amount of psyllium that you intake, right?
That doesn't happen. But I don't believe you are passing plaque...yet. I believe that no matter what kind of good health a person is in, slim, overweight, active, inactive...there is this stuff in the small intestines that just accumulates over time. It just seems to be a fact...sure, some have it more than others. But
Bentonite has been used to centuries to clean out the GI tract. The psyllium, in the case of the shakes, is really just to get you regular, but it does also have some cleansing properties. I have said many times that the real magic here is the bentonite. I stick by that and with 100% confidence turn friends on to it. Just got my best friend started today, in fact.
The longer you take the shakes, the less of it you will pass. That's been the experience of everyone who has stuck to the program. There will come a time when you are no longer passing the nasties despite continued intake of the P&B. And I mean the REAL nasties...like the black rubbery stuff, not the stuff you are talking about. The first day after you started taking the shakes just seems too early to me...not impossible, but seems really unlikely.
However, I really can't say what taking a whopping 4 teaspoons full of that would do to the output. I can't imagine that it would be good and can't imagine myself swallowing that much of that gooey slimey stuff like that! And wouldn't suggest that anyone try it! I'm only speaking from experience here...as I'm not a medical person at all. The nasties will begin to be less and less over time, despite the continued intake of the shakes. You'll just have to go on trust on this one...I did and it worked for me. Now I only take a shake every couple of days just to keep regular (need to do that more) and I continue to use the
Bentonite b/c I believe it has properties that are truly beneficial. Do a google for 'research' on this stuff and you'll see what amazing properties it has. There may also be some articles here on CZ, I don't know...
But again, this topic has been discussed quite a bit and for those who have completed it, there is just no way that REAL plaque is psyllium. What you are passing is just an overload of the psyllium, IMO. When you pass what looks like a bicycle inner tube and smells like satan just took a dump in your bathroom, you will know it - loud and clear.
