My apologies for not having the time to read all the posts from the past. I'm sure a couple of these have been addressed. (Nothing new under the sun.)
Background: 41 year old male. Five years ago, I had a bout with kidney stone(s). Did not have insurance and opted not to have an envasive procedure to remove it. One was rather large and the rascal hung up in my ureter. Been there all this time.
About 3 weeks ago, I experienced a similar problem that I had in the past with my kidney stones, which was radiating pain in the kidney area (right side). The last time I had this problem was 3+ years ago. I would take a hydrocodone (sp?) and would get relief and be ok the next day. I suspected that my pain of 3 weeks ago was another bout with the kidney/stone. I did the hydrocodone again, but this time it didn't relieve the pain. What did, finally, was ibuprofen. I was under the impression that the kidney was inflammed and it relieved the swelling. I was able to get relief and was fine the next day and the following two weeks. Then, last Thursday, I experienced another, similar pain in my right side. This concerned me. I spent the day in bed, after taking ibuprofen. (I ran out of the hydrocodone.) I felt ok, but not up to par on Friday. I got out my medical dictionaries and have come to the conclusion that I have symptoms consistent with gallstones. I've had friends in the past tell me about their positive results doing a flush and I've determined to do the same thing. However, I've got some questions and value this forum and the good people's experience and opinions.
1. Lots of different ways to do the flush. I've read a little about doing things before doing the flush, but not sure I want to take the time to get that far. Should I do the flush before going through the
parasites and other flushes?
2. Which flush? Does it matter? Not too interested in the
Epsom Salts , if I can stay away from it. I like the olive oil/grapefruit idea, though. Any suggestions/favorite way?
3. Various ways of sleeping, i.e. on your back or on our side, right leg up in fetal position. Does this matter? Is it important?
4. Read where bad breath is an indication of liver/gallbladder problems. I've noticed my breath not too pleasant of late. Is this a good indicator for all, or just some?
5. This one has me a bit concerned. The last couple of days, I've noticed what I can only describe as discomfort in my neck, like it is slightly swollen. I am wondering if my blood pressure is elevated? Is this a symptom? Should I be feeling discomfort in that region?
6. Finally, to top it all off, I am having the new sensation of having to urinate all the time now and I am having slight pain in my bladder region. I am wondering if that
kidney stone has decided, after 5 years of being in the same place in my ureter, that it was time to move into my bladder and complicate the heck out of my life? Never had a stone actually come out, that I am 100% sure of anyway. Is this a possibility? That
kidney stone was a pretty good chunk at one time and I'm not looking forward to it coming out, especially right now.
Thanks in advance for your help. Any advice and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
