Back in October my lips and hands started oozing and itching. I thought I was detoxing from a powerful supplement I was taking (active -H). Finally after having it go away and reappear over and over I went to the doctor who cultured it and said it was a Staph Infection. I think I got it from taking a steam sauna every week and not letting my exfoliating gloves air out properly. I took a round of antibiotics and it went away quickly. A month later, it came back (not as strong as before but bubbly and bumpy). Took another internal round of antibiotics and started applying Bactroban cream. It went away but has come back many times since then. Now I just treat it topically with the Bactroban cream but it is very troubling to have to keep dealing with this. I live a very healthy lifestyle. I've only taken antibiotics for dental work I've received and that was several years ago so I shouldn't be resistant to antibiotics. I've done a few liver cleanses so far, I take green tea extract, taken some herbal extract blends to fight skin infections (fungus/bacteria). My immune system seems iron-clad. I rarely get sick when everyone around me is. What should I try next--what will kill this bacteria that seems to be lingering in my body?
