Dear Sarika,
Sleep disturbance is a complex issue that involves a dysfunctional digestive system. In many cases, it can be resolved simply by making the appropropriate dietary and lifestyle adjustments. I have discussed these in great detail in my book The Key to Health and Rejuvenation (www.1stbooks.com). They include eating the main meal of the day at midday when digestive functions work at peak performance; eating a light meal in the evening, no later than 7:00pm(no snacks after that); going to bed before the Pitta period begins at 10:00pm; avoiding protein foods such a meat, fish, chicken, eggs, cheese and milk, preferabley for good, but especially in the evening.
The latter can remove insomnia in a matter of 10 days and also reduce or eliminate depression. Proteins derived from dead animals (cadavers) are degenerate in nature and can greatly irritate the nervous system by thickening the blood, congesting the blood vessel walls, hindering waste removal via the lymphatic ducts and preventing nutrient absorption.
Most people using amphetamines and antidepressants also supress the immune system, digestion of food and elimination of waste. Foremost of all, these drugs produce large amounts (hundreds and throusands) of gallstones in the bile ducts of the liver, which can lead to multible problems to the entire organsism. Depression and low self worth issues are common among people with very large numbers of stones in the liver. Both the drugs and stones prevent a person to deal with old repressed emotions, learn from them and move on in their lives. The drugs consist of poison that has a numbing effect on the body at large and also on one's sense of conscious living and spiritual wellbeing.
The liver cleanse (see The Amazing Liver Cleanse, wwww.1stbooks.com) is a powerful method to remove existing stones and restore emotional wellbeing.
To make the transition easier, St. John's wort is nature's natural antidepressant, but shouldn't be combined with any other drugs). The essential oil lavender is a great sleep inducer, breathed in on a tissue or added to a carrier oil and massaged into the shoulders. Other sleep-inducing oils are bergamot, marjoram, Roman chamomile, lemon, and ylang ylang.
There are also homeopathic sleep aids such as Arsenicum, Coffea, Ignatia, Lycopodium, and Nux vomica.
Acupressure or Acupuncture are other methods that can be emplyed.
With kind regards,
Andreas
