allow me to respond....
first of all... yes, "they" are the fundamentalists. and "us" is ANYONE who does not believe or think the same exact way that "they" do. (although I must say that you do not fit that category completely, even though you call yourself a fundamentalist---you stick up for the Catholics, perhaps because of family members who you could not bear to be lost forever in the afterlife)
Also, observation is different than judgement. I do not judge Klyd, in fact, I stated that there is hope for everyone (even Klyd, LOL) We all get there when we get there..... But it is my observation of the facts that I see, and others may agree with me, that fundamentalism condemns everyone to "hell" who is not a "true" Christian. No one is "saved" except "true" Christians. you tell me....is that a gospel of "love"?? Again, this is an observation, not a judgement. There is a "we are right, and everyone else is wrong" mentality. or "we are the only ones who know the truth, and your religion is a cult or a pack of lies" Again, just an observation of the many posts on curezone.
I am a person who values balance very, very much. I wouldn't even waste my time explaining my perspective to certain posters, whom I know are not ready to understand. But when I see a great imbalance leaning so much toward one direction of "theoolgy", I have a desire to balance out the scales, if you will.
