All you or anyone has to do is come to the Throne of Grace and repent for your sins and ask Jesus Christ to be the Lord of your life and heart.

Believe me, there are many Christians that used to be terrible sinners. I am one of them, and when I got to the bottom of my pit and asked God to forgive me and change my heart the change was remarkable, somethings didn't happen overnight but through the power of the Holy Spirit I'm a new creation in Christ. And you can be too.

Jew and Gentile are the same in this respect. They all have the same Lord, who generously gives his riches to all who ask for them. For "Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

What this means is that those who become Christians become new persons. They are not the same anymore, for the old life is gone. A new life has begun!

All this newness of life is from God, who brought us back to himself through what Christ did. And God has given us the task of reconciling people to him. For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people's sins against them. This is the wonderful message he has given us to tell others. We are Christ's ambassadors, and God is using us to speak to you. We urge you, as though Christ himself were here pleading with you, "Be reconciled to God!" For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.

John 3:13-17 (New Living Translation)

God loves you so much, He wants you to come to Him in full repentance, no matter the sin - He wants you to turn from it and become pure and a new creation in Christ Jesus.

And most of all, know that you have friends here who will support you and lift you in prayer, and remember all things are possible to them who believe in Jesus Christ, aka God!

There is nothing so terrible that you can do that you cannot find forgiveness from God. When Christ died on the cross, He paid the price for whatever sins you have committed. The price HAS ALREADY been paid. Salvation is a gift, none of us are worthy of it. Are you truly sorry for the sin in your life, sorry enough to abandon it? Do you believe with all your heart that Jesus died for you, that He bore the burden of your sin and has already paid the price? Call upon Jesus right now, ask Him to forgive you, thank Him for dying for your sins, and rising again to be your Lord and Savior. If you had a 1000 years to live, you could never do enough good works or live a good enough life to be saved. If you had all the riches of the Earth, you could not buy salvation. God gives us salvation by His Grace, then gives us the faith to receive it.
From the tone of your post I believe you are in a place where the weight of your sins is too heavy a burden to bear. You know you need divine forgiveness and salvation. The Holy Spirit is working on you. Please pray, in your own words, telling God that you are a sinner, that you are sorry for your sins, tell Him you believe (if you truly do) that Jesus died for those sins. Ask for forgiveness, ask Jesus into your heart, your mind and your life. You will be saved.
Unless God deliberately leads you, you do not have to confess your sins to anyone. God casts our sins into the sea of Forgetfulness. They are as far as the east is from the west. God will never bring up your sins or remind you of the past. That is a trick of satan. Living the Spirit led, Christ centered life is not always easy, but remember, you are walking in Grace. Let God deal with your burdens, all you need to do is believe, ask and receive. Jesus has already done the rest.

I am a Christian (Protestant)--What I've found in the Word is that there is no act so terrible that the power and saving blood of Jesus Christ can't save.

Please read the story of David who named "a man after God's own heart."----After God lifted him up and anointed him as King of Israel, he went after a woman by the name of Bathsheba. She was the wife of his most trusted army general, Uriah. When she became pregant (I think this the way the story goes..)--David didn't know what to do. So to hide his sin and "do the right thing by Bathsheba"--he sent Uriah into battle and ordered him to go on the front line. Of course Uriah gets killed. David marries Bathsheba.

Nathan the prophet of God who lived in the palace--prophesied that David would pay for his sin.

When the child was born, it did not live long. David repented and wrote the Psalm 19. Because he repented, fasted and prayed, God forgive him and he and Bathsheba had another child, a son by the name of Solomon. Solomon was the wisest king ever to rule Israel.

In summary, David committed adultery, murder, covetousness, and he downright lied. God forgave so He will forgive you too.

The bible is filled with many stories of people of faith--Saul persecuted the new Christians--murdering and torturing. God literally knocked him down on a road called Damascus, blinded him for three days. When that happened, he was given a new name. Paul. The apostle Paul's letters account for much of the New Testament. Protestants and Catholics alike use his letters as the basis for living.

Here's another one: Two thieves were hanging next to Jesus recognized his divinity as they were being crucified. The first thief wanted to Christ to save them, since He was God. The second thief wanted no such thing but wanted to Jesus to simply remember him in paradise. Jesus saved the second man even as he was dying on the cross.

I pray this helps you in your journey. Please read Psalm 19 and Psalm 139. When I felt guilt ridden, I found these two texts to be of great help. Please let me know if I can be of assistance.

We have all sinned, and we have all done things we are ashamed of, but Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ forgives us. He loves us, and He is here for us to cleanse us of our sins, and make us pure again. Don't despair. Read the Bible. Pray. Talk with someone you know and trust(Maybe your pastor, or a church friend), and have faith in Jesus Christ.

You don't need to wait till you get to church to be saved , Do it right now while God is dealing with you ,Don't wait another second, right where you are at this moment, ask GOD's forgiveness and ask Jesus to come into your heart,beleive that its done,and its done, your sins are forgiven and forgotten.
You have a brand new start,born again, wonderful, a new creature, a child of GOD,
He will be your Father and you his child.
Talk with him ,ask him to guide you, find some one to share your experence with , read his word. i like the book of John, to start with,thank Him, and get ready because things are going to change for you, (PRAISE GOD)for you

You will still be tempted, BUT you now have the Powers of Heaven,to call up on.

Jesus Loves you still! I have times when I feel that the sins I've commited are just so bad, why would God forgive me? Every time I fall short of righteousness, he is STILL waiting for me with his arms wide open, never once loving me any less. Sometimes it is so hard to grasp the meaning of his grace, but the fact that he paid for my sins makes me hate them more and more. Even sometimes I feel like I am so drawn to sin, how can I be sustained? How can I stand in the day of judgement, guiltless? It's going to be pardon, not my righteousness. God will pardon you, but you have to know his son.

"I have loved you with an everlasting love... I will never leave you, nor forsake you."

Blessings be on you! I pray that the Lord would open your heart, so that he can heal your guilt and fear.

I would like to encourage you about finding a church family, the Lord knows people in your area, just continue to pray for him to send them your way. It may be that your church family does not meet every week or even in a building, but the Lord's people are all over the place!

it does not matter what acts you have committed. God loves you no matter what and you can become saved. you are as worthy as any one of us in his sight. all you have to do to be saved is ask Jesus into your heart. he died for all sin, and He loves you. we have all sinned, but when Jesue died on the cross it was to take on each of our sins, no matter how bad. He carried that burden so that we can have eternal salvation. the only thing stopping you is you. He will get rid of your guilt. guilt is a sin also and a trick from the devil. Allow yourself to ask Jesus into your heart today and try to get with someone who knows the bible or is close with Jesus already to support you. i will love to talk to you anytime. Never let something you have done fool you into thinking you are not good enough. non of us are, but with his forgiveness and salvation we are made pure and all the old is taken away. god not only forgives it but he forgets it. it is simple. say a prayer asking for forgivenes right now and ask him to come into your heart, and He will. have faith. the Bible says it is so and the bibile is his word and vey powerful. Hi there....I've never actually browsed this forum before but I clicked on your message first...and I wanted to answer you...There is nothing that you have done that would be so terrible that God couldn't or wouldn't forgive you for. God knows your heart, if you repent and turn away from your sin (no longer continue in the lifestyle you were living) God is just and He will forgive you of it, the bible says that he will remember them no more (there is no guilt and condemnation in Christ Jesus) God is waiting for you to turn to Him so that He can accept you with His arms open wide. To be saved you need to confess Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and invite Him to live in your heart... *You will be a new creation in Christ--no longer seen as your past*
