I think it depends on the person. I do believe that root canals habor infection. But some people's immune system can deal with it and others can't.

In my case, 1 root canal, cavitations, and mercury fillings COMPLETELY screwed up my system.

So its your call, you may be fine. But if it was my body, I wouldn't take a chance.

I'm glad you root canals worked. But please don't assume everyone has had the same experiance you have had with them.

root canals have screwed alot of people up. I had a root canal pulled that was full of infection. I'm still trying to get the infection out of my sinus from that root canal. It, along with mercury fillings and cavitations completely screwed up my health.

The safety of root canals depends on a lot of factors. It depends on how its done, what materials are used, and how the person's body responds to infection.

It also may depend on the type of infection ( normal bacteria or anaerobic bacteria ).
