just wanted to point out that implants are probably as bad an idea as Root Canals, maybe worse, maybe not, but they will constitute a foreign body each which has been very tightly entrenched into your body/jaw for which your body / immune system, will react to in an effort to resolve. If you go with implants and decide in the future to have them extracted, the procedure will be much more costly and complex compared to extraction of a root canal. In your case, installing and or removing 16 of them would each be quite a significant impact to tolerate.
Also, it's natural for people to think moreso of the cosmetic aspects of either salvaging natural teeth with RCs or substituting false teeth with implants. Add to this the social stigma associated with people who use conventional false teeth, plus the functional annoyances with dentures / partials, and the decision becomes even more difficult with the tendency beign for people to favor the cosmetic effects over the health effects.
If nothing else, spend as much time as practical trying to beome as informed as you can from as many sources as you can find on this issue before acting on the situation. Good luck whichever way you go.
