Dear Katiesquid, I am going to a regular dentist to get my metal fillings replaced two at a time. I cant afford a holistic dentist ,and my family nor I can afford to pay for me to travel to Tiajuana Mexico to see Dr. Morales (Who I heard is very inexpensive and a super holistic dentist).--though you may want to look into that.
I am going to a regular dentist and already had two metal fillings replaced on my left lower jaw so far. My next appointment is June 13 for two more. I have more appointments up until September 1st.
What I would suggest for you is to start now getting one to two out at a time. You have to start somewhere! Make a list of all your fillings and root canals., and chock them off the list as you are able to get them replaced.
When you said: "I am concerned about the health problems I have been suffering with for the 3 to 4 years.
Starting with exhaustion and cronic groin pain, uncontrollable emotions to depression, now I seem to be losing my focus, having light chest pains and odd pins and needle sensations." My head jolted up, as every symptom you describe is mentioned in Hal Huggin's book, "I'ts All in Your Head" about slow mercury vapor poisoning from dental fillings.
Dont expect your dentist to take it seriously. The only reason my regular dentist hates mercury is because he thinks its ugly, and it eventually expands cracks your teeth in time. He doenst believe that mercury fillings are toxic, however.. so i dont even bother arguing him. He and many dentists mean well, however, they are so devoted to and brainwashed by the American Dental Association that they would rather listen to them than listen to some "bleeding heart health fanatic making an issue about mercury fillings".
Sure metal fillings wont kill you, but they are responsible for many health issues-- especially nuerological ones, where noone knows how they got started. Many people have bounced back from Lupus and fibromialgia after getting all thier fillings replaced yet thier doctors - amazed at thier improvement, still can t' face it was because of the filling removals.
It all depends on each person's individiual immune system and genetics. Mercury is worse in some than in others, but eventually as we age, little problems and little symptoms become worse ones.
My dental insurance only covers for metal fillings, and so I had to pay $115 for two metal fillings to be replaced whereas, I would only have to pay $24. So the fact that I am waiting every 1-2 months to get them replaced gradually is more affordable for me-- and it is also safer healthwise. If you get them all out at one time (especially with a regular dentist) you will be overwhelmed by mercury vapor and end up in the hospital. My body has time to recover in between dental visits, and I can supplement and detox myself and prepare for the next filling removal.
Two weeks before each dental visit, I have, and will detox my body by doing
Colon Cleanses to clean my colon. I also purchased some herbal detoxifier liquids--such as Floressence liquid, to detox my body for 1-2 weeks before the filling removal. My entire diet is completely changed already since 2004. I will add no chemical or food additive in my body and I have done three
Liver Flushes so far to rid my body of past Birth control hormones.
After my last filling removal comes another set of three more liver flushes.(done the cheap way with olive oil,
Epsom Salts and a grapefruit-- see Dr.
Hulda Clark 's
Liver Flush in the Cleansing link)
I also take a liquid multi vitamin supplement - and natural vitamin C with Bioflavonoids to strenghthen my body's tissues. After the fillings are removed, I pay for them, go outside and take lots and lots of deep breaths. I bring a can of Canned saline solution (without chemicals) with me and rinse my eyes out in the bathroom after the dental visit. During the time the dentist is removing them I make sure to keep my eyes shut and also wear glasses. When I go home, I quickly shower/shampoo any mercury vapor residue off of me.
I take more vitamin C with bioflavonoids during the course of that day- as well as Charcoal tables.
I also make sure I get Yogurt and Probiotics in me-- especially Kefir!
Animal protiens (even though Im a raw produce Vegan) are actually important to make sure you get while your fillings are being removed. Dr. Hal Huggins said that he noticed that recovery time is much faster when the patient eats animal proteins. So I reccomend turkey. Do not eat any fish though- as most contain mercury- so you may want to cool it with the fish at this time. Fish have a way of sponging up mercury and retaining it in thier bodies.
Another verrrrrrrrrrrrrrry important supplement to have on hand (and get 2-3 bottles of these) is Algin. Algin lessens and rids mercury side effects from filling removals very fast- and it wont unleash the mercury back into other parts of your body as Chlorella and others can. You can purchase Algin at
http://www.herballure.com That's where I bought mine. If you buy three bottles, the price is lessened to $13.00 some a bottle if the total order is $40.00. To make my order $40.00, I bought a small item from their product catalog (a little glass dropper bottle for my home-made perfumes) for only a $1.50 to make my order go up to $40.00. Then I was able to buy the three bottles of Algin also- and they waived the shipping and handeling. You get 100 capsules of Algin in one bottle.
You can even start taking Algin now- to rid your body of the mercury causing your symptoms.-- Though I would definitely have it on hand while you get your fillings replaced two at a time.
I requested the dentist use a rubber dam when removing the fillings. They argued that they have a high speed suction - so that a rubber dam isnt necessary, but I joked and said, "Look, please humor me, it's my birthday!" The dentist laughed, and they used one. Then he joked that I must be a real "wack job" for visiting a dentist on my birthday!..heeheee.
They will use a rubber dam if you ask. It really is no big deal for them to fasten it on your mouth.
When it comes time for you to get the mercury/nickle, removed from any crowns or root canals, you can opt for that with a regular dentist as well. They will be more than happy to do it for you. If possible, id get the crowns/
root canals done at the very end after all the fillings are replaced. I'd use composite/porcelain.
Do not use pure gold til all the metal fillings are out- as gold and mercury combined together in your mouth will worsen your symptoms. Hal Huggins, DMD found this out in his practice. I dont know why this is, but it has to do with the electrical properties in these metals clashing in some way.
Most dentists provide a payment plan for you when the dental work starts costing up to $700 or more.
I expect to pay about $406-$500 after it's all over - (God willing I wont need a root canal).
