I'm on day three. The first day was really hard for me, ate part of a cookie and one dried apricot. Yesterday I was pretty hungry all day, mostly in waves, but noticed I felt pretty good considering. I also got rid of some of that mucoid plague and that hooked me in. I mean how can ya quit when you know that's there. You see and you want the rest of it out, and out now.
I woke up today feeling really good, super energized and not a bit of hunger. It's 12:30 p.m. and I'm still sailing. I feel normal again. First two days I felt really pissed off, especially day one.
I've lost maybe a pound, that's it, no big weight loss for me. I'm shooting for 10 days so maybe this will get better. I haven't had any headaches, normally I'll get them when I'm hungry. No aches and pains either. Nada. I feel good. I'm also way more alert today.
Really, the first two days for me where pretty hard. I'm not saying I won't have a lull today again, or even later in the fast, but it does get better as you go.
When I do get hungry, it's normally around now, then it fades until about 4 p.m. Yes, 4 p.m. to about 7 p.m. are the hardest for me. I guess our bodies are conditioned for lunch and supper.
Stick with it. You'll be really proud of yourself for pushing past the first two days.
