MoreI am interested in knowing two things, maybe someone can help.
I had my gallbladder removed several years ago (lapo) and since have heard that this proceedure also includes the appendix. Is this True? Second, I experience uncomfortableness from my neck down on the right side, especially with weight gain. Is this normal?- Re: Years after Gallbladdler Surgery oroselket

I'm no expert, but I doubt they'd do them together. The two organs are in different parts of the digestive system.
Can you access your medical records? You could find out for sure.

It is difficult enough to do just the gallbladder without cutting some other things (can't remember what it was).
It might be helpful to do several liverflushes and bowl cleansing. You might also have some left over stones that came out of the gallbladder.
You want to have a clean liver, because the bile does not have the storage container (gallbladder) anymore.

I had my appendix out, but the Dr. didn't take out my gallbladder at that time. An ultrasound revealed gallstones, but the Dr. didn't remove my gallbladder. I think it was really because he was late leaving on a ski trip with his family because of me and he didn't want to take more time with me than he had to, but I was grateful he didn't take out my gallbladder!

This is a reply to # 389,190Thanks for the input, I really would like to know however if there is anyone else that has had the same problems after having gallbladder (lap.surgery) removal. I do a cleanse every 90 days, have been doing them for 5 years. They do seem to help, fiber is the best source so far. My surgery was about 7 years ago and I did not notice this problem until I lifted a heavy object and gained some weight. It comes&goes, and I feel that it might be adhesions or scar tissue. Just want to know I am "normal" if there are others who have experienced the same thing.
