What if all the cleansing and eating veggies and taking minerals etc are causing my body to cleanse or shed the acidic toxins and that is why my urine ph is low? Especially the first urine of the day that's been sitting all night collecting acid waste for removal.
In my readings that is correct. In fact, some would have you throw out the first mornings reading. As your body is doing nightly maintenance of waste removal.
Personally, I think in terms of burden.
I, at this time am unable to eat a Zero SAD diet.
I therefore must make up for the added acid burden by supplementing more alkaline resources.
Also, the body stores acid waste if it does not have the ability to eliminate all of it.
So the majority of people on the SAD diet will have acid stores that will need to be removed.
An interesting test, those who are starting out might try.
I believe the body does the same thing as in water preservation.
It takes around 3 days of plentiful water before the body will acknowledge “we now have plenty of water coming in”. Only then will it release the extra salt that it retained in an attempt to prevent water loss.
So if you were to start supplementing alkaline resources you might see something interesting like this:
(Assuming everything else stays the same, exercise, same food and amount etc.)
On day one and two your pH may increase in the morning, but after the third day it will drop.
You double up on the supplements, your pH rises again, 3 days later it drops once again in the morning.
You double up again, same thing happens.
What’s happening is your body is adjusting to the additional resources and dumping acids at a higher rate.
