Hi #52473,
peace be with you.
A change like this from a 100% raw diet to chicken and chocolate creates a huge change in blood chemistry very quickly.
The local area around the tooth would have been getting used to a nice steady improvement in blood chemistry and improvement of intestinal flora.
Either the chicken or the chocolate could cause the pain around the tooth to recur. The animal protein creates acid when digested.
Chocolate contains
Sugar and milk, either of which could cause infection after a long spell on raw food.
The idea that is was not the texture of the food is an excellent observation and should prove to you the point about blood chemistry and food energies.
When I have long spells on raw food, I find that the texture of food becomes more of a focus for me, and then on cooked food the flavour is more interesting.
Either way, the more significant factor is the energy. Every food has a history and this gives it it's energy.
Food energetics is a very powerful theoretical perspective covering taste, texture, ethics, geography, seasonality, and so on.
Food energetics originated in ayurvedic
Science and is now practised by some western medicos as well.
This is also similar to
Blood Type Diet s, which are diets that categorise people by blood type and then suggest the best kind of protein for each blood type.
Best wishes,
Sebastian Reed
