If I were you, start brushing your teeth AND flossing them every day-- (brush at least morning and night before bed)
Scrape your tongue off in the mornings with a butter knife (I use a plastic picnic knife) to get rid of decay promoting bacteria.
Then Rinse morning and night with hydrogen peroxide either straight, mixed with water or also with baking soda mixed in.
Dont swallow- spit out.
you have to "bite the bullet" now and have the dentist rid you of all the decay you allowed to get in your teeth.
Dental visits are really not that big of a deal these days- in fact, just to get two silver fillings removed and replaced, it only took no more than an hour for me.
You may want to bring a headset and your MP3 or CD player and play your favorite relaxing music while they are doing the work.
To prevent future cavities, you have to maintain your teeth like you should have been doing before. (but we all learn the hard way!) Your teeth are related to other parts of your body- and other organs. Your liver suffers if you have tooth decay. You may even notice that the whites of your eyes are not white but very dull or bloodshot all the time- that happens when your liver is working too hard to fight too many toxins.-- including tooth decay.
I would always reccomend rinsing with hydrogen peroxide-- especially days when you have a cold-- as it kills ALL bad bacterias in the mouth.
just remember that when they give you fillings to repair the damage you have already in your mouth- pay the extra $ and get composites and NOT metal!
Good luck and tell us how it goes!
