Shelley, since your forum is so popular, I thought this is a good place to put my lesson from today so the most people see it.
I've been
Liver Cleansing for nearly 6 weeks now. That is, I did two flushes three weeks apart and I'm doing another this weekend.
I went to get my teeth cleaned today.
Turned out I had lots of gum puffiness. Technician didn't know why. I explained that I was doing liver & intestinal cleansing and the bacteria has to come out somewhere and gums are another route. She didn't get this at all.
The dentist came in and was told about my puffy gums. I explained why they are in this state, as above, and fortunately *he got it*!
Anyway -- note to all: don't neglect your dental health as you cleanse and flush. Gums are a way out for germs, but they do sit around in there for a while and make their bacterial waste. Floss, get professionally scaled.
Also, quick "commercial" for a great product: Jason's Powersmile toothpaste. I've been using this for about six weeks. My dental technician asked if I had my teeth bleached since they were so white! Yay!
