We all have differing constitutions. Some of us can take crap longer than others. But in the end bad-living will catch up with most everyone. Just take a look at cancer/heart-disease/diabetes figures. In a sense those of us who get sick earlier in life are the lucky ones.
As for differing views - that is why I don't like proscriptive advice. If you take into account your blood-group, your dosha, your diseases, your mineral-profile etc. etc. you are bound to get contradicting advice! You need to learn the general principles then apply them as necessary.
The more you find out about nutrition, the fewer these contradicitons become, and a clear picture emerges of what is healthy and what is not.
Just remember once upon a time we were led to belive that margarine and all-bran were healthy! Even worse people once thought that smoking was healthy!!
In time you will learn which principles are most important to *you* and then no one will be a greater authority than yourself. For example for me what is important is what nutritional
Science has to say combined with the empirical knowledge of what our ancestors have done (sucessfully) for thousands of years.
I'm not really interested in eating according to my blood-group, dosha, mineral-profile etc. etc. I'm aware of these things, I think they are interesting, but I don't let them constrain me.
You have to be able to separate the trendy fads from what is really, truely healthy.
