Electric blankets are very bad - the frequencies they throw off are unhealthy for the bod. If you must use them, then turn them on before bed so they warm up your blankies, then turn it off when you actually get into bed.
My notes have a couple links to pages that offer self-tests for finding out your dosha. Feeling cold all the time is usually Vata or Kapha.
Having a very pale tongue with some jaggedness would indicate Vata derangement and general all-around depletion and malnutrition. You need a warming and strengthening regimen more than a cleansing regimen, and plenty of fiber.
If you can, eat nothing but Kichadi or hot cereal or protein shakes or veggie soups/broths for a month. Avoid all raw, cold foods unless it is fresh veggie juice or light snack. Definitely use digestive enzymes and as many of the tips in the "Increasing Digestive Power" notes as you can, such as taking in a bit of lemon with each meal, and drink spicy teas as often as possible. There's a link to a list of good teas. P&B shakes are good too.
Also check out the Protein Shake recipe, you need to build up some reserves quickly. Drink at least one a day, preferably with two eggs AND nuts. Take digestive enzymes with it. Snack on raisens or add them to your hot cereal.
If you keep your meals small you should be able to digest them okay, and nothing on my list should be an allergan for you. This will give your digestive tract a chance to reduce inflammation, gas, etc. Taking a super-green supplemnt and liquid chlorophyll, would be especially soothing. If the cracks are closer to the tip of your tongue, that's definitelyt he stomach/small intestine. If it's toward the back of your throat, it's your colon and that means do enemas.
You need tons and tons of comforting things in your life, sweetie. Be nice to yourself, get some massages, and get rid of the nasty people in your life, or at least find a way to not let them bother you when the do their stuff. :)
Hope that helps! :)
