Dear edtrax,
after 18 years of life with dental fillings and root canals, I took my teeth into my own hands. I now have only my own flesh in my mouth - dental flesh, gum flesh, etc, and no other materials, period.
I know how to make your teeth become firm and within a couple of years for you to have brought them up to their greatest potential. The basis points of the strategy are to remove the worst things from your diet, improve your oral hygiene habits, and then, if you have any fillings, aim at having them fall out because you don't need them any more.
For the time being, if you have an unstable condition, you need to address that. Garlic oil, wild oregano oil, thyme oil, echinacea tea, and raw honey are all good antiseptic remedies. So is washing your mouth with eucalyptus leaf tea, olive leaf tea, or salted water.
In the long term, natural solutions are far better than anything the dentist can offer you. You should do everything you can to save your teeth before you consider having them extracted. I weaned myself off bread over a 2 year period and I now eat boiled rice, barley soup, corn puffs, beans, sprouts, and other whole grains in the place of bread.
I eat nothing which has been fried. I don't crave dairy foods and I don't crave meat. Reducing animal foods in the diet is a great start if you want to reverse tooth and mouth conditions. Eat bananas, pawpaws, cucumbers, carrots, beetroots, lettuce hearts, celery, radishes, mangoes, lychees and virtually any other whole natural foods.
Don't eat chips, too much bread, biscuits, cakes, chocolate, or candies. Don't drink alcohol except when celebrating, don't drink too many cordials, and don't smoke. If you don't think you can handle all this within a couple of years, then dentures might be your best option. If you think you can do it, do it.
Good wishes,
Sebastian Reed
