as far as sidestepping your flush?
you did not seem to give a more detailed circumstance you are in.
If you are ill.. it is better to wait... unless it has to do
with other areas that need better liver function NOW
to get better.
if you have a infection ongoing.. yes I myself would probably wait.
you can do the flush np another time.
In fact, I would advise it to you, since flushes can mean
*accidents and exposure to fecal matter.
If you have a infected cut in your hand you risk toxic matter
getting more into your blood stream.. and esp highly toxic
liver stagnant bile, stones,etc, I certainly would not take the
risk of them comming even close to a cut wound.

I haven't used Manuka honey for anything, but it sounds like it would be helpful on your finger. As far as the flush, I would think your body is dealing with enough stress for now, if it's not immediately necessary, it might be better to let your body concentrate on recovery right now.
