My pain radiated all through my right chest region, and on my back also. It won't kill you, and there are no definitive cures, but it can stop you in your tracks. I had a horrible time wearing a bra...still do sometimes. I came to curezone, and that's how I finally started seeing a diminishing of my pain.

There is also a very active group on Yahoo forums about this, and if your daughter thinks she has it, then you can go in and check out that forum, but I warn you, it is for info on the associated pain only. These people are a bunch of liver damaged, drug addicts in the making, and they hate me for saying so.

The pain of this mimics gallbladder disease, and gallbladder disease can sometimes cause costo pain. Has you daughter had an ultrasound in that area?
