the link above is a link to how I prep before and during and after a flush.
it also includes using magnesium citrate instead of sulphate ,
for those sensitive to the sulphate form.
I looked on line, and it said that magnesium sulphate side symptom
in some people was abdominal cramping, nausea, and sometimes rectal bleeding.
and that longterm use should not be undertaken.
You should not take it in the presence of abdominal cramping,
and or any bowel upset like a diarrhea from flu etc/
Many folks use the magnesium citrate instead,
which will still relax bowels and also thus the bile ducts.
at the link above is what wellnessyoga had said they did
As far as the other stuff I can't comment and I agree about asking Andreas.
(as Hanna suggested)
I certainly would cease using the sulphate form ,
since it appears you have a sensitivity to it.
I had problems with it myself and after I altered my oo drinkmix
to the alternative version that Andreas suggests in his book ,
elimanating the grapefruit juice with the substitute,
the problem ceased.
I also altered the moon phase that I had first done it in,
to the one he suggests,
and the result was far less drastic, and very gentle flush.
Hope the link ,
and also talking to him
helps you get back on track .
