i was playing around in a pool a few days ago and my friend accidentally poked me in the eye so hard that i popped a blood vessel in my eye and now it is red with blood under the pupil. i was told 2 wash it out with water constantly and put some visine on a qtip and wash my eye with that. is this good advice? wat would b the ebst course of action?- Re: blood eye popped vessel Blueduck

MoreThis is a reply to # 350,850I would put nothing in my eye. I sure would not put visine in it. I would not put water in it. Eyes heal....I have had a broken blood vessel before. It will go away on it's own. It looked pretty bad. I had no pain at all. You are sure it is only a broken blood vessel ?

You could check out any homepathic remedy ( oral ) and I wouldnt touch the eye with a q-tip, or visine.
If you had some CS 3-5 ppm you could use a few drops of it in the eye.
It happpened to me once and I did nothing, it went away on its own as blueduck posted.
