About the organic food:
Henry's, Mother's Market, Trader Joe's, Wild Oats, Whole Foods Market all carry organic (no pesticides or reduced pesticides) food and each have various locations for their company throughout the country. Find which are near you. They all don't carry the same amount of variety in the same item.
On the financial side the Wild Oats markets may be bought out by another company. If that happens their name may change.
On the subject of comparing one Alternative method with another Alternative method is where the general public is sleeping at the wheel. It's up to the general public and the representatives in Congress to insist on clinical trial comparisons betweeen 2 Alternative methods such as the ones you mentioned. The pharmceutical companies and their practically hand-picked front man, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), certainly aren't going to do it. They've had over a century to start this and they haven't done it.
The Office of Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM)--as I think it's called--is funded by Congress (ultimately)and has funds to do these types of clinical trials. You might check their website for the ones they are running and see if they have done any testing on the ones in which you are interested.
While both of the non-toxic methods you mentioned get good results, it would be very informative to know how the healing reactions and symptoms manifest themselves as they gradually are reduced on the road back to health. This is why there should be side by side clinical trials of the Alternative methods. Questions like under which specific conditions it is easier on the patient to follow the protocol of one then the other could be answered. What benefits are derived from following one method over the other under a certain stage of cancer (or type of cancer).
Both Budwig and Gerson could be compared against H.Clark's method.
This is what the pharmaceutical companies do when they clinically test cancer drugs on patients. Yet the FDA doesn't do it for Alternative treatments. When they have it has been torpedoed with political pitfalls. If they had it would have been public knowledge that these natural type treatments are far safer and don't have the horrible side effects experienced on conventional cancer therapy (like chemotherapy, radiation, surgery and adjuvant supporting drugs).
It's a very good idea, therefore, to do as you are and go to the websites of the ones you are interested in as well as other websites and ask for people's experience on it and how they felt about it.
