Start taking Omegas and flaxseed oils regularly. Cold pressed flaxseed oil (in the refrigerated section of a healthfood store). I take 2-3 omega capsules during the day and 1-2 tablespoons of the flaxsee oil per day. I'm also trying to incorporate more fish (especially salmon) in my diet). I've noticed that my nails are starting to grow out normally w/o the pitting and ridging. It takes time so be patient. Try to avoid junk foods, alcohol and caffeine.
