Organic does not mean grassfed (or free-range which might be the better term since chickens don't eat grass but peck the ground to eat bugs and worms, etc.). The term organic can mean that the chickens were fed organic grain but does not mean that they are free to roam around outside. Free-range organic means the chickens can roam outside and are fed organic grains and pesticide is not sprayed on the ground they roam on.
