OH my, knee injuries are the worst! the worst! the area gets next to no circulation, that's the main difficulty with any kind of healing. To address it, you need to apply compresses. If there is any kind of swelling, the compresses (cloth soaked in fluids) should be cold. You can make rosemary tea (simmer *gently* one to two tablespoons of dried rosemary - or fresh if you have a plant, they're nice to have around - for about 20 minutes and let cool. Soak the cloth and apply to the knee. this is also a good cure for premature baldness if it isn't male pattern baldness. ;)
If there is NO swelling present, then you can use heat! yummy. Heat up a pint or quart
of water wtih aobut 1/4 cup of Epsom Salts
and a dash of cayenne - cayenne tincture works best. Drink the Cleansing Drink (see FAQ for recipe) and apply. Alternate with a cold compress or bag of frozen peas or wahtever else you have to act as an ice pack. Don't totally rely on electric heating pads, the electro-magnetic waves are NOT healing.
Also take Detox Baths.
So okay, to feed nerves, nothing beats B vits, essential fatty acids and Lecithin. See the Protein Shake recipe in the FAQ, it has everything you need in proportions that will give you fantastic energy. Much better than any powder type shake you can drink. Also, take a teaspoon of cod liver oil daily.
To feed ligaments, get a box of EmergenC with Glucosamine and Chondroitin. It has to be EmergenC because you need the C and the bit of Zinc in it too, and the electrolytes will ensure that everything else gets where it needs to go, since the body scavenges things for electrolytes first and foremost.
It pays to have a clean liver and bowels. Clean tissues are vital tissues! and cleansing the bowels frequently eventually cleanses every other tissue in your body. So check out the FAQ for more info on this so you know lots of options.
Good luck! :)
