I went ahead and did a
Liver Flush last night. After talking to both Julia Chang and Shelley, they both said that major digestive distress can be caused by a blocked stone. I knew the timing of when this started was directly after my flush three weeks ago and that flush resulted in zero stones. So I had nothing to lose but continue to feel poorly.
I started the safflower oil/grapefruit combo at 9pm. Man, I really have a hard time getting that down. The safflower oil is great because it has no taste, but it still is an oil slick and that turns my stomach. Also, I can't stand the taste of grapefruit juice so it is a double whammy. I followed Julia's instructions as I seem to get my best results following that plan, which is to take 1/4 oil and 1/4 gf every 15 minutes for an hour. I threw up some of my third glass, but only a little bit of it right after swallowing it. I immediately laid down with a castor oil pack over my liver by 10pm. I woke up at 2:30 am feeling extreme nausea which usually means I am going to throw up any second - I always end up throwing up the oil. I went to the bathroom to pee but never did throw up. I woke up again at 6:00 am still with that extreme nausea. I started the SWF. Before I could even drink one sip of it, I felt the urge to poop. I did an enema last night around 4:30 pm so I knew I was somewhat cleaned out. It was runny and the toilet was filled with about 100 tiny stones. I was thrilled. I was only able to get down about 20
ounces of the
SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) and also drank some superfood. The nausea has remained and I have a slight headache. Since 6am, I have gone to the bathroom at least 10 times. So far, I have released stones every single time I went, some of them the size of my thumb. I have also passed some the size of half my thumb, which is still a good sized stone. The rest of them have been pea sized. I would say I have passed at least 500-700 stones so far. Peppermint tea is helping to settle my stomach.
I would call this a success for sure. I just hope it helps my digestive distress!
