have you seen an acupuncturist? Try to find one who is experienced with sports injuries, or one that uses moxibustion (heat).
And be sure to eat nerve food - vitamin B12 can only be had from eggs, liver and other meat sources. Lecithin and EFAs are very important. Men need lots of EFAs, more so than women. Flax seed, Udo's Choice, coconut oil, should be regular parts of your daily regimen.
You can try castor oil packs... who knows? Might help! :)
