What I like about juicing
is it lets you eat a heck of a lot more veggies than you normally would. I would never eat a big clump of dandelion or parsley or a pound of carrots at one time. But I can sure juice them up and drink a bunch of 'em!
After I'd been juicing
for awhile and fretting about what to do with all that pulp I was "wasting", I finally realized that all the green pulp is totally useless to use in any other way, because like Shelley says, it's just cellulose and indigestable anyway. (I tried using it in soups or baking it in breads, trust me it is nothing but useless!)
Juicing is just squeezing out the good part so your body doesn't have to waste energy trying to digest the useless part. Unless of course you already just love to eat veggies of all kinds and even prefer them to cheesecake or sausage!! In that case I bow down low before you!!
Just my two cents!
