Hi, I too am gallbladderless :) an enzyme I have found which is VERY resonably priced is from Swanson Premium Brand Digestive Enzymes it has pancreatin 4x 250mg
ox bile extract 150 mg
diastase 80 mg
papain 30 mg
bromelain 10 mg
betaine hci 5 mg
I do not know what all this stuff is, but if you go to their site swansonvitamins.com you will see it is reasonable, they also have a flat shipping of $4.95, so look and see if they carry anything else you use regularly. I just recently purchased and am trying the garded of life enzymes. The lable said to take 1-4 per meal. The swanson enzyme says to take 1 tablet, but I take 2 per meal to have it work for me.
Realize too that if you had your gallbladder removed that it was just a symptom of your liver issues and you need to work on getting it clean and supporting it. Flushing, beets, carrots, lemon, lime, vinegar, milk thistle, dandelion, are all supposed to help. From all my reading over the last few years I have come to the conclusion that it is difficult for us to digest fats because our bile does not flow as it should due to no more storage in gallbladder, so for me this explains why I do not digest fat (floating stools) why fatty foods (even good ones like coconut oil, flax oil, etc.) make me nauseaus. We need extra enzyme help to digest fats so they can be of good use to us, from what I understand this will be a lifelong thing for us.
I am currently exploring fermented foods in search if they may add some live enzymes to support digestion as well. Sorry this is so long, Hope I have helped some. Good luck on your health quest.
