I have finally heard back from my doc, and the news is good. He is hooking up with a research biologist who is taking an interest in my case. He [the biologist]wants all my research data and microscopic slides and specimens. My doctor has expressed some unusual enthusiasm and is looking forward to proceeding with testing. If the results come back confirming cryptococcosis, then we add other experts to the mix, including a mycologist! My doctor says if I am right, this will be an exciting developement leading to publication.
What this will mean to us is some recognition with regard to systemic yeast\fungi infections in NON immunocomprimised or "immunocompetant" people!
This will also ligitimize my theory that chronic systemic yeast\fungi infections are inherently parasitic in nature and that candida infections can be caused by more serious fungi\yeast which is rarely looked for in diagnostic procedures.

Many of us may be infected with this organism, which is normally thought of as LETHAL. I hope to show these experts that it is time to re-think this misconception.
Oh...and this type of infection must be treated with pharmaceudical anti-fungals, intraveneously. Shroom
