May I make a clarification here?
The body needs it's stomach acids to function, but the problem is when there are not enough Alkaline Minerals in the foods you eat to neutralize these acids and then this causes the digestion track in the intestines to become too acidic as well, because the excess acids from the stomach get out of control and come up and go down from the stomach and this is what causes all the problems!!!!
Water contains two parts of Hydrogen to one part of Oxygen, now acidity is measured by the amount of Hydrogen which is present, so drinking more water may make one more Acidic!!
Yogurt many times will complicate the problems one is having with Candida-Yeast/Fungus, because it contains too much Protein in ratio to the Alkaline Minerals available and this may cause the body to become more acidic, which may be causing the problems in the first place!!
The proper way to reintroduce the Friendly digestive flora into the digestive system is to drink an 8oz glass of water first thing in the morning when you get up so as to flush the excess acids from your intestines, and then drink an 8oz glass of Only "SKIM" milk with some good quality probiotics which contain Acidophilus and Bifidus of a high Billion count!!
If one has many digestive problems, then one may want to take the Skim milk and another probiotic before each meal the rest of the day also!!
"BUT" if you insist on eating too much Protein in the rest of your Diet then you are going to have problems still!! And you will not be able to re-establish the friendly digestive flora in your digestive system which you need for good digestion!!! And taking the Probiotics with skim milk will not work either!!
