It is really hard to pinpoint which one thing. I would have to say though that I was very seriously deficient in minerals. You know I was having a terrible time with hydration. My urine was constantly dark indicating not enough fluid yet I was drinking upwards of 100 ounces
of water a day and I am only 100 lbs.
I have to say that adding seas salt to my water and consuming many vitamins in both the chelated nad liquid form is what is really making the difference.
I did alot of research of candida, adrenal weakness, fibromyalgia and electrolytes. I stumbled across the story of a man who suffered in tremendous pain with the worse case of fibromyalgia I had ever heard of. His story was interesting in that he was so ill he was sent home on a morphine drip and was told that is how he would be living his life. He was a smart man and got his hands on medical books and did tons of research. Concluding that the 4 main electrolytes were resposible for almost entirely for nerve transmissions throughout the body. Our bodies almost rely on these minerlas completely to function properly.
He concocted a mixture of sodium, potassium, magnesium and calcium in a pwder form which he took every day. Within months he was able to walk again and off the morphine, within 14 months he was completely cured and back to riding bikes , hiking etc. He was then able to discontinue the mixture and was back to normal 100%. I might add he was also on a candida restricted diet since chronic fatigue candida and fibromyalgia are all very closely related.
After reading his story and after having done much research regarding my symtpoms and putting 2 and 2 together I decided this could very much be my problem. For instance, going to sauna and any kind of sweating made me feel much worse, I needed to drink alot of water constantly or I was very sick, I got dehydrated easily, my tongue was burning, all signs of mineral deficiency. Also, I did have an entire week in October of 2005 where I was 100% symtpom free and felt great after taking cal/mag supps, but then the resulting diarrhea for almost 3 weeks plunged me into the worse condition I had been in since this whole nightmare started.
So in short, I did lots of detective work regarding my symptoms to try to figure out what my body was asking me for. Of course this was caused by candida. The candida will take months to clear up and I still have that. But addressing the deficiences in the meantime is building up my body to the point where I am able to function almost 85% now. Die off still causes me to feel miserable, mostly at night.
In answer to your question minerals minerals and more minerals and NO SWEATING or anything that would cause me to loose any minerals.
I actually even started working out vigorously on the treadmill everyday, but because of my fear of losing minerlas through sweat I have a giant fan turned on high blowing air all over so it actually cold in the room where I workout. The minute I get hot I stop immediately. This is only temporary unil I build up my body with the minerals it needs which I also understand could take months.
