Yes candida can cause low iron intake (due to bad assimilation in the digestive track) and consequently secondary anemia.
Candida already makes you feel weak without having to suffer from low oxygen intake due to anemia. Oxygen is essential to get energy so the circle goes round and round into total lethargy.
I do not know how you do, at that stage, I had a lot of problems with digestion and I basically went for a juice fast (vegetables) and from there started to add up food, bit by bit. Watching for any allergic reaction.
I also did
coffee enemas along to deal with my leaky gut. An enema bag/bucket is very affordable and
Bowel Cleanse being an essential part of the cure you should go get one!
