Antibiotics played a big part in my illness so you're definately at risk of getting worse if you don't take care of it now.
You could try gargling with garlic or nystatin to kill it, but it's just as important to replace it with something, which means probiotics. Learn to make yogurt, kefir, or sauerkraut, or just go buy probiotic pills and take them after meals. I've done lots of reading and that's the basic approach.
Sea Salt water gargle is also good, taking care of your teeth is even better. Psillium seed husks couldn't hurt to help clean out your gut, chances are the problem isn't your mouth, it's just the only part you can see.
