TC-12
Hello, Whiteflowerlady. I believe there may be an informational insert on the back of the shrink-wrapped label, or something like that. Info also below. Whatever you do, don't start with more than 1/4 bottle per day for the first few days! Interesting effects if you go well over that at first. One thing that's interesting to me is that obviously potent probiotics such as this ("obviously" in that you can FEEL changes, rather than have to rely on a label's "active unit" claim) seemingly put the "you need enteric (stomach acid protected) probiotics" theory to rest. This stuff is clearly potent in the gut, yet is 100% NOT protected from stomach, pancreas, and liver excretions.
Keep in mind that acidophilus is the primary beneficial bacteria in the upper intestine, with bifidus the companion bacteria for the lower intestine (colon). So you might want to take a bifidus probiotic supplement as well. Some potentially good ones below -- one very knowledgable candida person I know recently told me he noticed good results with the Natren product, but you might try the less expensive Nature's Way (a very reputable brand) bifudus first.
